The Regional Sales Manager (South Central) is responsible for developing and implementing regional growth strategies in conjunction with product management to meet and exceed revenue goals. This strategic leader is responsible for sales growth and market share gain opportunities with new and existing customers. The RSM manages the sales effectiveness of the independent sales teams and ensures that the sales funnel remains on track to deliver to budget expectations. Always forward-thinking, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing the South Central region of focus, developing and implementing a sales plan to grow the business. The position leads major selling situations and monitors on a monthly basis, all sales activity within the Texas region. Create and implement dynamic and forward-thinking channel go-to-market strategies within all diverse customer channels to achieve annual sales growth goals. Achieve and exceed the forecasted sales target and profit margin. Strategically develop, grow and evolve sales funnel for future growth. Accountable for the success and effectiveness of the sales rep teams' performance within the region. Delegate sales strategies and yearly targets, set up frequent review meetings and follow-ups to provide direction to rep network to effectively sell to the market channels and set the teams up for success. Partners with rep principal(s) on staffing and personnel situations. Develop regional forecast and countermeasures to ensure sales goals are kept on track for execution. Drive accountability with individual sales reps, provide coaching and mentoring. Consulted and influential in the performance management process of the regional reps. Own key account and market channel management for customer leaders at regional level. Develop and nurture key partnerships with Distribution and Contractors. Maintain regional Customer Relationship Management (CRM) process and sales funnel report-out. Drive price management process at regional sales rep leader level. Actively involved with national industry groups, such as American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) and Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA).
