About The Position

Omni Aircraft Maintenance, an FAA Part 145 repair station serving business aviation since 1983, is seeking an exceptional aviation sales professional to expand its presence throughout Texas. This is an outside sales position focused on developing relationships with key decision-makers in the business aviation sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong pipeline, converting relationships into sales, and representing Omni throughout the state. The role requires a driven, credible, and highly responsive individual who understands that success in business aviation sales is built on presence, customer knowledge, quick responses, and delivering on promises. Omni emphasizes protecting customers' downtime, budgets, and trust.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in business aviation sales, account development, or a closely related customer-facing aviation role.
  • Strong working knowledge of business aircraft maintenance, avionics, connectivity, aircraft operations, or MRO services.
  • An established network within the Texas business aviation market is strongly preferred.
  • Residence within North Texas, Greater Houston, Austin/Central Texas, or East Texas.
  • A genuine hunter mentality with the discipline to prospect consistently and create new opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate credibly with technical and executive decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to sell value, certainty, and reduced operational risk.
  • Comfort discussing project scope, downtime, pricing, and customer expectations.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and modern prospecting tools.
  • Exceptional responsiveness, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating closely with operational and technical teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Texas.
  • High personal standards, integrity, and accountability.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurability under Omni Aircraft Maintenance’s auto insurance policy.
  • Ability to obtain airport and SIDA badging credentials where required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a focused sales strategy for the Texas market.
  • Build relationships with aircraft owners, directors of maintenance, chief pilots, fleet managers, management companies, and aviation industry partners.
  • Maintain a consistent in-person presence at airports, hangars, operator facilities, and aviation events throughout Texas.
  • Represent Omni at regional aviation events, trade shows, and customer functions.
  • Generate qualified opportunities for inspections, maintenance, avionics, connectivity upgrades, mobile service, and AOG support.
  • Identify upcoming inspections, aircraft downtime requirements, and upgrade opportunities before they become open-market RFQs.
  • Conduct disciplined outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and face-to-face visits.
  • Create new relationships while expanding Omni’s business with existing customers.
  • Refer aircraft sales, acquisition, and pre-buy opportunities to Omni Aircraft Sales and bring resulting inspection work back to the shop.
  • Coordinate closely with estimating, operations, avionics, marketing, and leadership to develop compelling customer solutions.
  • Communicate Omni’s value beyond hourly rates by clearly explaining total project cost, downtime, risk, and scope.
  • Follow every qualified opportunity with urgency, professionalism, and persistence.
  • Remain engaged after the sale to ensure an outstanding customer experience and generate long-term repeat business.
  • Maintain accurate customer activity, opportunities, next steps, and pipeline forecasts in Omni’s CRM.
  • Provide useful market intelligence regarding customer needs, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
