Regional Sales Manager - California
About The Position
McCrometer, a Veralto company, is a global leader in flow instrumentation, designing, developing, and manufacturing world-class flow measurement equipment. This newly created Regional Sales Manager role is driven by business expansion and offers the chance to make a significant impact within one of the company’s fastest-growing markets. The position is ideal for professionals passionate about building relationships, driving growth through channel partners, and contributing to a high-performing sales organization. The role involves 50% field-based work and 50% remote/home office, covering California, Arizona, and New Mexico, with a preference for the candidate to be located in California or Arizona.
Requirements
- A degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or equivalent is an asset.
- Experience in water, wastewater, or related industries (chemical, industrial, or oil & gas sectors with water exposure)
- Strong understanding of channel partner or distributor sales models.
- Proven ability in business development and account management.
- Hands-on experience utilizing a CRM tool (Salesforce)
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a channel partner network to drive territory performance
- Develop and execute strategies for business development and account growth
- Identify and onboard new channel partners while strengthening existing relationships
- Conduct regular meetings with partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support sales initiatives and territory expansion
- Maintain and update customer and partner information using CRM tools
- Balance strategic planning and field engagement
