About The Position

Our sales team has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to manage and profitably grow our business in the assigned territory. Candidates located in Northern CA and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply. This individual will be part of a diverse team that will successfully build customer relationships and bring the voice of the customer into the larger Eurofins EAG organization. This position will required frequent travel domestic US and International (more than 50% of the time).

Requirements

  • BS degree in engineering, materials science or related field.
  • Prior experience in semiconductor, aerospace, medical device etc.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Proficient communicator and listener.
  • Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques.
  • Strong analysis and judgment skills.
  • Able to work individually and independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Computer literate, high level of accuracy and detail oriented.
  • Manage multiple functions and maintain good organizational skills.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
  • Require close distance visual acuity with or without correction (Glasses, Contacts, etc.).
  • Ability to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and understandably ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
  • Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.

Responsibilities

  • Profitably grow Eurofins EAG’s sourced revenue year to year to meet agreed upon targets.
  • Identify the best opportunities and develop strategies to ensure these opportunities are converted to sales.
  • Follow established sales processes to ensure selling effectiveness.
  • Identify customer needs and communicate these to operational teams for evaluation and action.
