About The Position

We are looking for a driven, solutions-focused Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of UE Systems' Northeast territory, develop new customer relationships, and drive continued growth across industrial markets. This is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys growing and expanding a territory, identifying new business opportunities, and building long-term customer partnerships. You will have the independence to execute your territory strategy, expand UE Systems' customer base, strengthen existing accounts, and position our ultrasound solutions as a valuable part of customers' maintenance and reliability programs. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in industrial, technical, or consultative B2B sales, with the ability to understand customer challenges, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions that deliver measurable value. You are comfortable engaging with both technical professionals and business decision-makers, developing trusted relationships, and turning customer needs into new business opportunities. You will work closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Training, Inside Sales, and technical resources to deliver a consistent customer experience and profitable growth. Ideally, this position will be based in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or New York area to effectively support our Northeast territory.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial B2B sales, technical sales, consultative selling, or a related customer-facing commercial role serving manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, or other asset-intensive environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business, build customer relationships, manage sales opportunities, and drive territory growth.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and engage stakeholders at multiple levels, from plant-floor professionals to management and executive decision-makers.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, territory plans, and revenue forecasts using a CRM platform.
  • Experience regularly traveling to customer sites in a field-based sales or customer-facing role, with the ability and willingness to travel 50–75% in this position.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory while meeting customer-site safety and access requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling reliability, predictive maintenance, condition-monitoring, or related industrial solutions.
  • Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices, condition-based monitoring, rotating equipment, and common industrial failure modes.
  • Experience with reliability or condition-monitoring technologies such as ultrasound, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis, motor testing, or precision alignment; relevant industry certifications (e.g., Ultrasound Level I/II, CMRP, CRL) are an asset.
  • Experience conducting technical demonstrations, onsite evaluations, proof-of-value engagements, or product and application training in industrial environments.
  • Established relationships within the Northeast industrial maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing community.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute a Northeast territory sales strategy focused on growing revenue, acquiring new customers, strengthening existing relationships, and expanding market presence.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial markets while reconnecting with inactive or underdeveloped accounts to grow a strong, qualified sales pipeline.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with maintenance, reliability, operations, engineering, and business leaders, positioning UE Systems as a trusted partner in improving asset performance and operational efficiency.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations to uncover customer challenges, understand operational priorities, and identify opportunities for UE Systems' ultrasound solutions.
  • Position and sell UE Systems' portfolio of hardware, software, training, and services, demonstrating how our solutions improve uptime, safety, energy efficiency, and asset reliability.
  • Conduct customer discovery, onsite evaluations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements that establish technical credibility and advance sales opportunities.
  • Develop compelling proposals and business cases that demonstrate measurable customer value through avoided downtime, improved lubrication practices, energy-loss reduction, safer inspections, and stronger asset reliability.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, closing, and long-term account growth.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline management and forecasting, including opportunity values, next steps, close dates, and customer activity using HubSpot.
  • Build relationships across customer organizations, engaging everyone from plant-floor technicians and reliability engineers to maintenance leaders, plant managers, procurement, finance, and executive decision-makers.
  • Partner with Marketing, Training, Inside Sales, Operations, and technical specialists to accelerate customer engagement, support solution adoption, and identify opportunities for continued growth.
  • Represent UE Systems at customer sites, industry events, workshops, and professional associations while gathering competitive intelligence and customer feedback to support territory development.
  • Follow customer-site safety requirements, PPE standards, and UE Systems policies while maintaining a professional, solutions-first approach.
  • Travel regularly throughout the territory, with approximately 50–75% travel depending on customer demand and territory development needs.
