About The Position

Manufacturers Capital, a division of Commercial Credit Group (CCG), specializes in machine tool and fabrication equipment finance and leasing across the U.S. and Canada. CCG is a leading independent commercial equipment finance company in North America. Our sales team is distributed nationwide, generating new business from end-users, equipment vendors, and manufacturers, with typical transaction values between $100,000 and $2,500,000. Based in CCG's Charlotte, NC headquarters, Manufacturers Capital thrives on strong relationships, deep equipment knowledge, and exceptional customer service, maintaining a solid financial performance since its inception in 2004. Our funding strategy involves holding originations on our balance sheet, supported by various credit facilities, asset-backed securities, debt, and equity. We are seeking high-performing, motivated individuals to join us as Regional Sales Managers. These roles are within the Manufacturers Capital division, each with a designated territory offering significant opportunities, and will report to our Charlotte, NC office. While we value self-starters, we provide robust support through active marketing, sales, product, and process training, as well as assistance with prospecting and lead generation. Prior equipment knowledge and finance experience are beneficial but not mandatory. The ideal candidates will be driven to expand their territory, cultivate lasting customer relationships, and contribute significantly to the company's overall success.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable track record of sales success in equipment finance, machine tool or fabrication equipment sales or a related field
  • Effective communication skills, including written and phone skills
  • Understanding of the equipment finance process
  • Knowledge of and willingness to use CRM, Microsoft Office suite, and back-end computer systems
  • Dedication to enhancing the customer experience and delivering stellar service to our customers
  • Strong desire to grow the book of business
  • Ability to travel

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new business at the end-user, vendor, and builder levels
  • Maintain, build, and enhance existing customer relationships
  • Utilize our CRM system to track, monitor, and market to customers, prospects, vendors, and builders
  • Develop strong internal relationships with credit, documentation, collections, and marketing staff
  • Initiate customer applications and correspondence
  • Screen transactions
  • Coordinate closings
  • Handle ad hoc responsibilities within the territory
