About The Position

Tacony Corporation is looking for a driven, relationship-focused sales leader to join their team as the Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast territory. In this role, the individual will be the face of their commercial floorcare brands across FL, GA, AL, and MS, partnering closely with distributors to grow revenue, expand market share, and bring best-in-class cleaning solutions to customers throughout the region. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-minded sales professional who knows how to build trust, open doors, and turn strong partnerships into serious growth. This role requires 50–70% travel and covers Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Candidates must also be comfortable pulling and parking a trailer, as well as lifting up to 80 lbs. to demonstrate the commercial floorcare equipment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 5 years trade experience directly managing distributors, regional accounts or national accounts
  • Strong consumer sales management experience (presenting, selling, management, reporting)
  • Strong persuasive skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate others
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM software
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, kneel, bend, lift up to 80 lbs, use of hands and fingers to manipulate various machines required

Responsibilities

  • Follow a proven sales process that has yielded success in this industry or other industries
  • Effectively manage the territory by meeting with customers on a regular cadence to understand their needs, develop sales programs that align and grow their business, and keep them updated on different brands, marketing, and advertising promotions
  • Manage regional training for customers: identifying various training needs, determining best location for optimal attendance, and facilitating the training sessions to all participants
  • Continually seek new business acquisitions to capture market share
  • Report monthly market trends, competitive information, sales/product opportunities to internal teams including Marketing and Sales Leadership
  • Attend industry shows and events for optimal product exposure
  • Travel 50%-75% required
