About The Position

The Gulf Coast Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading efforts in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in the assigned region. The role focuses on driving revenue growth by leveraging existing sales teams and data to drive collaboration and cross-selling across 22 unique service lines.  This role will focus on building internal and external relationships, identifying opportunities for cross-selling of additional services, and using internal and external data sources to build a robust opportunity pipeline.

Requirements

  • Broad general knowledge of industrial specialty services including USAD service lines
  • 8-10 years in industrial sales with strong negotiation and analytical capability.
  • Field-based selling experience with industrial cleaning services
  • Demonstrated ability to develop direct reports by providing challenging and stretching tasks and assignments; holding frequent development discussions; is aware of each direct report’s career goals; and constructing compelling development plans and executes them
  • Proven sales or operations leadership in industrial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage high workloads.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to develop account plans and pursuit strategies with minimal guidance.
  • Travel regularly with focus on driving success through working directly with customers and winning business.
  • Clean driving record free of violations or other major convictions such as careless and reckless driving, hit and run, etc. over the past 5 years is necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Management experience is preferred and/or a demonstrated ability to provide leadership and mentoring
  • Experience selling industrial services such as hydro blasting, line cleaning, vapor blasting, chemical cleaning, pond dredging, mechanical services, catalyst, pigging, or specialty maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Engages frequently and proactively with established sales and operations teams to improve opportunity identification, capture and conversion.
  • Drives use of data and analytical tools to prioritize high value activities and identify highest ROI opportunities.
  • Directs sales activity by leading the outside sales teams, communicating the needs of the customer across the organization and reporting performance/market trends for the business.
  • Drives regional engagement with USA Debusk’s strategy by translating national priorities into actionable regional plans, coordinating field activities, and aligning reps and distributors to targeted accounts and applications.
  • Leads and manages the Division’s sales team engaging in hiring, coaching, reviewing, establishing goals and performance management activities
  • Drives talent development, by accelerating intentional development experiences to strengthen talent pipeline to continuously elevate sales competencies and capabilities.
  • Analyzes market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics to guide sales strategy.
  • Fosters continuous engagement with customers including services demonstration, facilitation of lunch-and-learns to prospective clients, and attendance/participation in industry-based trade shows, industry events, and networking functions.
  • Create and maintain account plans, including target account management, prospecting, and executing sales strategies with key partners.
  • Project a positive image in representing the company to clients and the community.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline developments, and market trends.
  • Complete and submit accurate weekly activity reports on a timely basis.
  • Participate in monthly cadence with manager to track progress and roadblocks.
