About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the sales of all Tenhold public safety products through distribution and directly to government agencies within a defined geographic territory.

Minimum of 5 years total work experience.
Minimum of 3 years experience in sales or sales management.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in law enforcement, combined with sales experience within the public safety industry, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow sales in assigned territory through building relationships with distributors and state, local, and federal public safety and government fleet agencies.
Monitors competitive environment within the territory and identifies opportunities and activities that support execution of Tenhold’s sales strategy.
Executes the sales plan and performance goals established by Tenhold leadership, evaluating distribution within the territory against those goals.
Analyzes distribution, customers, and application of successful product sales, applying these insights to execute Tenhold’s strategy for new business opportunities and marketplaces.
Required to manage and drive business to meet and exceed sales goals for geographic territory.
Responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with all distributors, dealers, and public safety and government fleet agencies.
Provide value-added training to distributor and dealer sales teams to help them increase and maintain expert knowledge on all Tenhold products.
Develop competitive analysis of geographic territory to support execution of Tenhold’s market share strategy.
Executes sales strategy and direction set by the VP & GM of Tenhold, coordinating all sales activities accordingly.
Must be able to travel overnight 15%+ annually.
