Regional Sales Manager The Regional Sales Manager, RSM, is responsible for leading the development and execution of sales strategies, activities, operations, and budgets to drive revenue growth within a defined geographic region. As part of a dynamic team focused on market-leading microwave ablation technology, this role will lead sales efforts that drive customer and patient satisfaction while consistently exceeding sales goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales/clinical experience in the medical device industry required.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability including the ability to lead and managethrough change
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and project management, with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Demonstrated success in talent development including coaching, retention, recruitment and building diverse pipelines
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills; including communicating, influence, and solution-oriented collaboration

  • Experience with robotics strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating strong product and procedural knowledge, clinical expertise, and experience with new product introductions
  • Recruiting, hiring, and retaining high-performing sales consultants across the region
  • Providing ongoing performance management, coaching, and development for direct reports
  • Driving business results by partnering with the field sales team to set and achieve territory objectives while enhancing patient care and customer satisfaction
  • Leading efforts to acquire new accounts and build surgeon relationships, while supporting field representatives in expanding existing accounts with new technologies
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics, industry trends, customer segmentation, and buying processes
  • Achieving sales, growth, and income targets to improve gross profit, profitability, and overall financial performance
  • Managing regional business expenses with fiscal discipline
  • Building relationships with key surgeons, accounts, and professional associations to maximize opportunities and foster collaboration
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics
  • Fostering strong internal and external partnerships, including collaboration with Marketing, Professional Education, and Commercial Operations, as well as executive, economic, and clinical stakeholders across IDNs to drive business growth
