About The Position

Quincy Compressor is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (Service) to join their team. The role focuses on developing and growing the regional equipment business by executing the CTS strategy, developing plans with team members, and employing a proactive sales management approach. The position involves developing and implementing sales, marketing, and business development strategies, with a focus on customer needs. The goal is to grow Service Sales and other services in the assigned region, identifying improvements for sustainability and profitable results. Collaboration with inside and field sales teams, as well as CTS Sales and Operations, is crucial. The role also involves standardizing sales processes, monitoring KPIs, conducting market analysis, and driving efficiency in sales strategies. Forecasting, new product launches, customer retention, and team coaching are key responsibilities. The position requires active reporting on business results, trends, and competitive analysis, while managing expenses and maximizing company assets. A significant contribution to market business development strategy is expected to grow market share and penetration, with a focus on key accounts. The role also includes representing Quincy Compressor at industry events and coordinating regional sales meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in the industrial compressor industry.
  • Minimum 3 years managing teams, implementing and executing plans to achieve desired results.
  • Willingness to develop yourself by learning new skills and increasing knowledge of products, systems, and the company's market and operation.
  • Ability to cope with large sums of information and create well-defined plans that are easily communicated and implemented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver messages to stakeholders at any level.
  • Solid understanding of the industrial air compressor business, with proven sales and marketing experience in the compressor industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerBI, CRM and Outlook.
  • Must travel.
  • Ability to work in a mostly office environment with significant time spent in the field on customer sites and riding along with team members.
  • May be exposed to a field service environment at customers' job-sites.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the regional equipment business by focusing on the execution of the CTS strategy.
  • Develop and implement short and long term sales, marketing, and business development strategies, considering customer interests and needs.
  • Develop and grow Service Sales, and other services, in the assigned region in accordance with Quincy targets and objectives.
  • Identify important improvement areas and implement processes for sustainability and profitable results in the service business.
  • Work with inside and field sales teams to create the right mix of products.
  • Foster collaboration between CTS Sales, Operations and Equipment Sales to capture opportunities.
  • Standardize sales process, procedures, and metrics to drive the PSM process and sustainable sales pipeline development.
  • Follow up on well-defined CTS KPIs and execute action plans to achieve results.
  • Conduct geographical and potential analysis to identify focus areas, run targeted marketing campaigns, and use data to grow the business.
  • Drive efficiency and implement sales strategies for all sales roles in the region.
  • Prepare short and long-term forecasts and analysis.
  • Work with the marketing team to launch new products while maintaining and growing sales of existing products.
  • Act as a business renewal champion, increasing customer retention and capturing new machines.
  • Coach, train, and motivate sales team members.
  • Develop and assign sales targets in line with business growth targets.
  • Actively report on business results, trends, and competitive analysis, and act to improve the business.
  • Control overall expenses while maximizing company assets and human resources.
  • Contribute to the market business development strategy to grow market share and penetration, with a focus on key account development.
  • Represent Quincy Compressor at regional trade associations, shows, and conferences.
  • Coordinate regional sales meetings for product and skills training, goal setting, and motivation.
