About The Position

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee all sales and distribution in an assigned region. This role involves growing the customer base, maintaining client and vendor relationships, and recruiting, training, and developing sales staff. The ideal candidate will be organized, energetic, and results-driven, optimizing territory databases and becoming a trusted advisor to clients. Responsibilities include conducting deal reviews, strategy sessions, and providing feedback and coaching to the sales team. The role requires the ability to lead in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and marketing
  • Extensive knowledge of business/economic environment
  • Ability to apply leadership skills and models to motivate and get results from direct reports
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to accurately forecast pipeline projections
  • Familiar with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office tools
  • Good computational skills and accounting knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge about the policies and sales strategies of the company
  • Excellent management skills
  • Hands on experience with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organization and negotiation skills
  • Ability to strategically plan the needs of the department.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the best plan for paid media strategies.
  • Handle stressful situations calmly and effectively, especially when dealing with client and employee concerns.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with employees, managers, clients and external vendors.
  • Communicate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Prepare clear and concise documentation, including emails and notes.
  • Lead planning sessions and team meetings.
  • Provide clear instructions and support for clients, employees and managers.
  • Present information effectively in training sessions with employees and other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all sales and distribution in an assigned region.
  • Grow the customer base and maintain client and vendor relationships.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff.
  • Optimize territory database and develop relationships with clients.
  • Conduct deal reviews and strategy sessions for winning new accounts.
  • Provide effective feedback, coaching, and counseling to sales staff.
  • Lead in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Involved in all aspects of the sales process – prospect facing, internal approvals, pricing/negotiating and post- sale implementation.
  • Achieves monthly sales numbers, driving sales results through hands-on field leadership.
  • Conducts QBRs, holds sales staff accountable to monthly goals, delivers performance improvement plans.
  • Models consultative selling methodologies and closing techniques to sales associates.
  • Manages team activity by setting and auditing weekly goals, reviewing calendars and establishing time management best practices with team.
  • Monitor's sales pipeline to insure healthy volume, mix, linearity, and prioritization of accounts.
  • Represents and supports corporate initiatives with a positive attitude.
  • Implementing rules and strategies to reach targets set by the management.
  • Hiring new staff depending upon the requirement of the region.
  • Ad hoc projects and other duties assigned.
  • Attend webinars and training to stay up to date on best practices related to the company and department.
  • Complete projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
