Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience, with a strong track record in outside/territory sales, account management, or regional sales roles (aftermarket, industrial, parts, distribution, or related industries highly preferred).
  • Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas/targets and driving measurable revenue growth.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for frequent local travel and customer visits).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage a high-volume territory independently.
  • Proficient in CRM/ERP systems (SYSPRO experience a plus), MS Office, email, and modern sales tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal day-to-day supervision.
  • Willingness to travel locally throughout the Phoenix metro area and surrounding region (primarily day travel; occasional overnight if needed). As well as surrounding states to garner more sales and open more accounts.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep knowledge of the Phoenix-area industrial/commercial market, key accounts, and competitive landscape.
  • Experience selling aftermarket parts, services, or consumables in distribution, manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to penetrate new accounts and expand wallet share with existing customers.
  • Customer-centric mindset with excellent problem-solving and consultative selling skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and growth targets.
  • Actively prospect and generate high-quality leads through outbound calls, targeted emails, in-person visits, networking, industry events, and referrals in the Phoenix area.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of key accounts and new business opportunities by deeply understanding customer needs, presenting tailored aftermarket solutions, delivering proposals/quotes, and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Consistently close deals, upsell/cross-sell additional products and services, and drive incremental revenue from existing customers.
  • Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships to secure repeat business, referrals, and increased market share.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity records in our SYSPRO CRM/ERP system; manage pipeline visibility and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Track competitor activity, market trends, and customer insights to identify new opportunities and inform product/service positioning.
  • Represent the company professionally at local trade shows, industry events, association meetings, and networking functions to elevate brand presence and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, management) to ensure smooth order handoff and exceptional post-sale customer experience.
  • Track and report key sales metrics, including pipeline health, win rates, average deal size, and revenue performance.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact through post-sale follow-up.
  • Work collaboratively with the Phoenix site team and broader organization to align sales efforts with company goals and capabilities.
  • Regularly communicate and coordinate with our headquarters location in South Dakota, including sharing sales updates, pipeline information, forecasting data, and participating in HQ-led meetings, strategy sessions, or cross-functional initiatives as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies, ethical standards, and professional sales best practices.
