About The Position

Responsible for maintaining existing AWIP Commercial Industrial (C&I) and PEMB customers and growth of C&I and PEMB sales within their defined region.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent sale/industry experience.
  • 5 years’ experience in promotion of construction or architectural product.
  • Professional and polished presentation skills.
  • Experience in reading construction drawings and specifications. Demonstrated aptitude will be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Must possess credit worthiness and a major credit card with a sufficient limit in order to maintain monthly travel expenses until reimbursed by the company.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor C&I and PEMB customer relationships and develop new C&I and PEMB customer relationships.
  • Supervise Territory Managers and/or Independent Representatives assigned to C&I and PEMB sales.
  • Collaborate with Director of C&I to develop and implement short and long-term strategies for market growth, promoting and selling products within the assigned territories.
  • Conduct reviews, coaching and sales planning with C&I and PEMB sales team.
  • Coordinate regional C&I and PEMB trade show and industry meeting efforts.
  • Be a subject matter expert on all products that AWIP manufactures and distributes. Additionally, be an expert and go-to source for knowledge in the C&I industry.
  • Maintain professionalism and expertise during face-to-face visits, customer service efforts and phone and e-mail conversations.
  • Visit customer job sites to support C&I and PEMB sales and customer service activities. Use discretion to coordinate with AWIP outside sales and/or AWIP field services as necessary to handle customer visits.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations to developers, contractors, architects and engineers.
  • Reading construction blue prints, drawings, plans and specifications and prepare estimates.
  • Creating detailed jobsite visit reports including pictures, description of products being installed, job site environment and report current or possible future issues with the products.
  • Plan, prioritize and organize travel regionally to facilitate C&I and PEMB sales support and customer service.
  • Maintain and foster “Customer First” initiative and align with the overall company plans.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
