About The Position

This field-based role is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the Stryker Trauma Sales team in East Florida. The Regional Sales Manager will drive revenue and develop a top sales team in the Orthopedic marketplace. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, analyzing market information, identifying and meeting with new prospects, and creating sales plans and marketing strategies to exceed territory market share objectives. The manager will also prepare, monitor, and manage budgets and expenditures, and provide recommendations on pricing schedules and discount rates. Building strong partnerships with local hospital staff, surgeons, and internal sales teams is crucial. The role also involves providing last-minute back-up support for operating/emergency room consultations or assisting with customer/account problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years demonstrated successful sales experience (in the medical device or industry preferred).
  • 2+ years of sales management experience and/or demonstrated ability to work with and lead others to accomplish sales goals.
  • Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.).
  • Ability to travel 50%.

Benefits

  • Sales Base/Draw + commission: $78,000-80,000
