About The Position

Kidde Global Solutions (KGS) is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for the province of Ontario to join their Canadian team. This individual contributor role is responsible for managing sales performance in Ontario and Manitoba across Electrical Wholesale, Fire Equipment Distributors, and Industrial distribution channels. The role also involves significant engagement with end-user influencers such as contractors, builders, property maintenance teams, and specifiers. The selected candidate will be responsible for the daily execution of regional sales strategies, distributor and rep agency engagement, and end-user influence to drive growth across the Kidde, Badger, and Edwards Signaling product portfolios. This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Director and is part of a dynamic, growing, and evolving sales organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years developing and executing strategic sales plans

Nice To Haves

  • Proven ability to influence contractors, builders, property managers, and specifiers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of products
  • Experience in Electrical and/or Fire Equipment distribution channels
  • Ability to work in direct and matrixed environments
  • Knowledge of Canadian fire and building codes
  • Strong ability to manage challenging customer conversations
  • CRM understanding & knowledge, particularly Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with distributors, contractors, builders, property maintenance teams, specifiers, and engineering firms
  • Provide end-user education on product advantages, code compliance, and application best practices
  • Drive pull-through demand by influencing brand preference at the contractor and specifier levels
  • Support quotation activities and ensure alignment between end-user requirements and distributor execution
  • Regional travel up to 50% in territory (Ontario and Manitoba Provinces)
