About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager, Northeast will play a vital role in our National Sales team, driving growth and market penetration for Ariston Group within a specific geographic region. This individual will be a key player in expanding our brand presence and achieving sales goals for our full line of residential & commercial water heaters, including gas, electric, and heat pump technologies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years of outside sales or business development experience in the water heating, hydronics, or HVAC industry.
  • Proven track record of managing regional distribution accounts and building down-channel relationships with contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute effective sales strategies, leveraging a deep understanding of our products to identify profitable business opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a history of building strong, productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software for sales reporting, proposal development, and pipeline management.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive sustainable growth, increase market share, and meet profitability targets. This includes in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Manufacturer's Reps. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure they are equipped to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with national, regional and independent wholesale distributors, independent dealers, contractors, builders, and specifiers. Act as a trusted advisor, promoting Ariston Group's value proposition and new product offerings.
  • Responsible for securing both day-to-day wholesale flow business and project-based opportunities. Work with distribution partners to ensure product availability and drive regular sales, while also identifying and securing large-scale projects with builders, developers, and institutional clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Leadership, Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, Technical Services, and Customer Care, to ensure a seamless sales process from prospecting to post-sale support.
  • Monitor regional sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the National Sales Director. Utilize CRM and other tools to manage the sales pipeline and track progress against goals.
