About The Position

The Regional Sales Director is directly responsible for leading the region's residential sales team. This role involves developing and implementing new customer acquisition strategies, managing a multi-state territory, and maintaining key customer relationships. The position also requires interaction with the National Accounts Team to maximize local revenue fulfillment from national agreements. A key aspect of this role is training and familiarizing residential sales representatives with established policies and practices, ensuring they have the necessary product knowledge, CRM sales system understanding, and selling skills. The Regional Sales Director will also assist sales representatives with complex sales negotiations and collaborate with the Operations Regional Vice President and General Managers to drive revenue completion, customer satisfaction, and timely resolution of customer issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sales Management experience required
  • Valid, permanent driver’s license from state of residence.
  • Current liability auto insurance required.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience in Segment Selling
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, practices and methodologies
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Proven track record achieving New Customer Acquisition in B2B Market
  • Direct experience managing sales associates across multi-state markets
  • Ability to mentor, train and develop others
  • Organizational, project and process management and leadership skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations
  • Business process analysis skills
  • Attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills
  • Working Knowledge of CRM Sales Systems
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel within assigned region
  • Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for managing the day to day activities of residential sales team for the region.
  • Develops and implements customer growth strategies.
  • Maintains key customer relationships.
  • Manages and leads the residential sales team.
  • Trains and familiarize residential sales reps with established policies and practices to ensure the team is equipped with the product knowledge, understanding of CRM sales systems, and Top Down and Segment selling-skills.
  • Assist residential sales reps with complex sales negotiations.
  • Works with Regional VP and General Managers to drive customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
