About The Position

Tenzai is seeking a high-octane Regional Sales Director to spearhead its expansion in the Central US territory. This is a remote, individual contributor role for a "scrappy" superstar who thrives in the ambiguity of early-stage growth and possesses the technical gravitas to speak the language of offensive security. As the first dedicated RSD for the Mid-West territory, you will be the face of Tenzai for Fortune 500 CISOs and high-growth tech firms. You are responsible for the entire sales lifecycle—from "opening the door" and navigating complex enterprise procurement to closing six-figure deals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise cybersecurity software.
  • Understanding of the Pen-Testing world or vulnerability management.
  • Proven track record of navigating the C-suite of major enterprises and closing complex, six-figure deals ($150k+ ARR).
  • Comfortable doing your own prospecting and motivated by the "build" phase of a startup.
  • Highly transparent, communicative, and value an "open-door" culture.
  • Sense of urgency and drive to every meeting.

Responsibilities

  • Own the territory. Identify, map, and penetrate key accounts within the Fortune 500 and mid-market tech sectors.
  • Leverage your network to generate pipeline and manage the "next month" onboarding of our first SDR.
  • Partner with our Sales Engineering team to lead deep-dive sessions on autonomous pen-testing and offensive AI.
  • Lead the charge in converting interest into Proof of Concepts (PoCs), ensuring Tenzai’s value is proven quickly and undeniably.
  • Provide "boots on the ground" feedback to Product and Marketing to help refine our GTM strategy.
  • Leverage strong Channel Partner relationships to drive growth and monetization, building on existing regional partnerships to expand market reach and performance.
