About The Position

Battle Motors is a rapidly growing company in the heavy-duty work truck industry, known for its efficient and effective solutions. With the introduction of new EV technology, the company is expanding quickly. Battle Motors builds next-generation vocational and refuse trucks, and its AI fleet intelligence platform, Fortris, enhances these trucks with connected, data-driven capabilities. Fortris includes hardware (Fortris Hub and Tablet) and software (Fortris Command and Vision) for fleet management and operational awareness. This role offers a ground-floor opportunity to lead a territory and contribute to establishing Fortris as the category leader in vocational AI.

Requirements

  • An existing book of business in refuse/waste or vocational fleets
  • 5+ years selling SaaS, telematics, fleet video, or fleet-management technology
  • A track record closing into large private haulers and/or municipal fleets
  • Experience responding to and winning RFPs and public-sector procurement
  • Comfort selling a hardware + software + AI solution, not just a point product
  • Hunter mentality paired with consultative, multi-stakeholder deal skills
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites, yards, and trade shows
  • Adherence to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Ability to work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their Supervisor immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a regional book of refuse/waste and municipal fleet accounts
  • Run the full sales cycle: prospect, demo, pilot, close, and expand on a per-truck subscription model
  • Win competitive municipal RFPs and navigate public-sector procurement
  • Partner with our dealer channel and body/OEM partners to source and close deals
  • Structure multi-year subscription agreements and pilots with clear, written success criteria
  • Be the voice of the customer back to product as we build the roadmap
