About The Position

The Regional Retail Sales Manager is responsible for building, developing, and inspiring a high-performing retail sales team. This role leads residential retail sales team members who assist prospective and existing customers with new service inquiries and account support through walk-in interactions and inbound and outbound calls. The manager drives retail store teams to meet or exceed performance targets, supports cross-organizational goals, and trains team members on Truvista’s suite of products and services, including high-speed internet, IPTV, telephone, wireless, and home security and automation services. This role also participates in local community relations activities and customer events to increase awareness, expand market penetration, and provide exemplary customer support. This position provides day-to-day leadership for assigned retail locations, including coaching, performance management, scheduling support, sales execution, customer issue resolution, and coordination with other departments to support consistent retail operations. The work schedule may vary based on retail center needs, customer events, staffing requirements, and business priorities. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of successful management experience in telecommunications or wireless is preferred.
  • Three to five years of sales experience in a retail environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation, as travel to other retail locations is required.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll systems and Omnia/Oasis order-processing systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for interviewing, training, developing and inspiring new and tenured retail sales team members to succeed
  • Creates a culture of continuous learning and sales development through in-the-moment coaching, formal coaching, role-playing, team huddles, web-based training, and objective performance management.
  • Performs lead generation and account penetration activities in new service areas, subdivisions and supports community events.
  • Must be available to participate in various community events – some may be after normal business hours, to include evenings and weekends.
  • Manages sales leads assigned to sales representatives and supports team members in successfully closing those leads.
  • Takes ownership of customer complaints concerning billing or services rendered.
  • Builds a sales team that can review customer accounts, identify opportunities that benefit both the customer and the company, and recommend additional services that meet customer needs.
  • Communicates corporate policies and updated processes and procedures to team members in a timely manner.
  • Observes in-person customer interactions and reviews inbound and outbound calls.
  • Travels between assigned stores on a weekly basis and must maintain a valid DL and good driving record
  • Holds monthly one-on-ones and annual performance reviews centered on high-level sales performance and customer service.
  • Provides assistance to frontline team members, including weekend or evening support as needed, normally less than 50% of the time.
  • Prepares work schedules designed to maintain adequate staffing for predicted volume.
  • Implements and enforces cash management and inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Attends Truvista sales meetings and sales training to stay up to date on the latest product and pricing developments, business trends, and marketplace regulations.
  • Serves as liaison with other departments within the company.
  • Ensures the retail centers meet Truvista merchandising and branding standards.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.
