About The Position

The Regional Project Manager is responsible for delivering capital projects and supporting the full facilities lifecycle across a portfolio in the USCa Region (United States and Canada, East Coast), including planning, design, construction, commissioning, and facilities management oversight. This role ensures all school infrastructure is safe, compliant and aligned with educational and operational needs, while delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This position plays a critical role in shaping long-term asset strategy, ensuring high-quality environments through strong planning, design, and construction execution, while maintaining operational excellence across all facilities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or MEP Engineering (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), Industrial Engineer, or similar background.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to travel across the region.
  • Strong project and construction management capabilities, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Solid financial and budget management skills, including capex control and cost optimization.
  • Ability to drive change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex construction and operational environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in facilities lifecycle management, including planning, design, construction, and facilities operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working across North America (US and Canada) or in international environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of capital projects, including feasibility, planning, design development, tendering, contractor selection, permitting, construction supervision, handover, and operational readiness.
  • Develop and manage a regional pipeline of construction and remodelling projects, ensuring alignment with strategic and educational objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and capex planning, ensuring projects are delivered within approved financial frameworks.
  • Coordinate building permits, regulatory approvals, and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and risks, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to design specifications.
  • Manage relationships with landlords, tenants, consultants, contractors, and authorities, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure contractors comply with site safety procedures, security protocols, and operational standards.
  • Influence and collaborate with school leadership teams to align infrastructure with educational delivery needs.
  • Coordinate across multiple jurisdictions in the US and Canada, adapting to different regulatory, cultural, and operational environments.
  • Support schools in the development and submission of capital expenditure requests.
  • Contribute to capacity planning, tracking and reporting changes in student capacity.
  • Develop regional project management standards, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Prepare regular reports, KPIs, and performance updates on project delivery, design, construction progress, facilities performance, and budget management.
  • Ensure all construction, operational, and building permits remain up to date.
  • Maintain compliance with local legislation and ISP policies.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all projects, financial, and operational information.
  • Ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions in US, and Canada), including building codes, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Enforce strict compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
  • Oversee the full facilities lifecycle, including: Strategic planning and master planning, Design and technical coordination, Construction and commissioning, Facilities operations, maintenance, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Support the development of standardized Preventive Maintenance Plans.
  • Ensure assets are safe, compliant, efficient, and sustainable throughout their lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement in asset performance and lifecycle cost efficiency.
