About The Position

LCOR is currently seeking a full time Regional Property Manager for the New York Metro Region with a minimum 5 years of experience as a Regional Property Manager. The Regional Property Manager will be responsible, under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Residential Property Management, for all phases of the operation of a portfolio of properties, including, but not limited to, the general administration and maintenance of the properties; direction and control of all personnel and resources to ensure that the properties are maintained at all times in good physical condition with stabilized fiscal operations; work with your property teams to develop financial budgets under the guidelines established by management to meet NOI expectations and manage the analysis and reporting of the results to Management; ensure that all property managers under your supervision are familiar with and understand the LCOR company policies and procedures, safety, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other laws, guidelines and liability concerns pertaining to apartment communities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Regional Property Manager.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of 5 or more communities that are on average 250-unit complexes.
  • Experience with pre-development and lease-up properties.
  • Experience with computers (Word and Excel), Internet and email, and other relevant applications are required.
  • Thorough knowledge of Yardi and property management software, i.e., revenue management, resident screening, utility billing, collections.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exercises problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills necessary.
  • Ability to work weekends and after hours as necessary due to emergency or business need.
  • Constant need (50% to 100%) to travel via airplane, train or utilize personal transportation.
  • Must maintain valid driver’s license and car registration and maintain proper automobile insurance if driving a vehicle for business purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Significant unit renovation experience is a plus.
  • A college degree, CAM, ARM or CCRM designations are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the financial responsibilities for the portfolio with the assistance of the Investment Managers.
  • Implement the strategic operations for the portfolio at the direction of the Senior Vice President of Residential Property Management.
  • Manage the Personnel responsibilities for the portfolio.
  • Ensure other responsibilities of Community Managers are being carried out properly following company policies and procedures providing support as necessary.
