What this job involves – The Regional Properties Director is responsible for developing and implementing the FM strategy to ensure a healthy long-term relationship with clients. This role involves managing high-performing teams, delivering operational excellence, improving client experience, and overseeing facility operations and maintenance programs across multiple sites.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in projects or maintenance and operations
  • Strong IFM operational budgeting skills
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents
  • Experience in contract administration
  • Knowledge of engineering and preventive maintenance
  • Understanding of quality assurance, change control, and regulatory audits
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership presence and ability to motivate others
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Providing operational leadership and setting technical direction for facility managers, operations managers, and third-party vendors
  • Fostering a "safety first" work environment and culture
  • Responding promptly to client requests, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans
  • Collaborating with site teams and directors on contractor selection and monitoring
  • Ensuring compliant and efficient operational processes in various facility types
  • Reviewing and optimizing energy efficiency in operational procedures
  • Adhering to Environmental Health and Safety standards
  • Developing and delivering presentations to senior client leadership
  • Managing operational budgets and client GL accounting
