About The Position

Wall Residences is expanding in the Roanoke Valley area of Virginia, including Roanoke County, Roanoke City, Salem, Botetourt County, and Franklin County. We are seeking a Developmental Disability Services Program Manager who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people experiencing developmental disabilities. This role involves developing supportive relationships with staff and individuals receiving services, connecting people to meaningful community activities, and requires a clinical background with knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field.
Clinical background with working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports.
Home office and internet access required.
Active driver's license with a good driving record.
Pass a criminal background check with acceptable results.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD).
Two years' experience supervising employees.

Responsibilities

Develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff.
Develop supportive relationships with individuals who receive services and their families.
Connect people to meaningful community activities.
Provide services in the Roanoke Valley area of Virginia (Roanoke County, Roanoke City, Salem, Botetourt County, Franklin County, etc.).
Act as a mandated reporter of abuse and neglect for individuals with disabilities.
