About The Position

The Regional Procurement Buyer (RPB) partners with sites to identify procurement priorities, needs, issues, improvement areas, smart alternatives, and cost-effective innovation opportunities, providing solutions that leverage the Procurement organization. The RPB sources, negotiates, and manages local and regional contracts within their scope, coordinating with Category Leads when applicable, and is accountable for total spend and savings targets within their perimeter. The role implements and monitors compliance with global and regional category strategies, medium- and small-capex procurement plans, and applicable policies, processes, and procedures. The RPB works closely with Category Leads to maintain open dialogue and consultation, serving as the key business partner and point of contact for sites in scope and representing their needs, opportunities, and challenges. Where relevant, the RPB may be part of the Site Leadership Team. The role also fosters collaboration across the region and between regions; some RPBs may be designated specialists on specific topics within the team.
