About The Position

Riot Creative Imaging is seeking a Regional Estimator with a background in large format digital printing. As an estimator, you will be the point person responsible for client and vendor communications, meetings, equipment rentals, and overseeing outsourced purchases and installations. Your role will involve determining the most economical method from manufacturing to installation and final delivery, working closely with the production team, sales, and estimating departments. Requirements

Minimum (2) years’ experience as an estimator in large format digital printing.
Solid working knowledge of large format printing, finishing processes, and materials.
Knowledgeable in the movement of materials through the manufacturing process.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
Strong background in Outlook, Microsoft, and Adobe Suite software.
Must be able to use and read a standard tape measure.
Exceptional math skills & creative problem solving.
Report to work as scheduled to support business operations.
GED Required.

Responsibilities

Provide estimates based on materials, outsourced costs, client specifications, timelines, installation, and other related documents within 24-48 hours.
Accurately calculate the total costs associated with a project or the development of a new product.
Provide estimates to clients, sales reps, production departments, and sister companies.
Review bids offered by subcontractors or outsourced vendors to choose the most cost-effective options while maintaining profitability.
Foster a spirit of cooperation within all departments and between colleagues to ensure estimates are delivered on time and to requested specifications.
Estimate internal costs of materials based on job specifications.
Evaluate bid invites/RFPs with an ability to read and work blueprints, elevation plans, specs, or abstract designs.
Determine the production centers and routing needed to produce the job as specified.
Handle installation research and scheduling.
Perform site surveys as needed.
Calculate costs associated with product and vendor resourcing.
Use internal or external sources to help establish best materials and processes for RFQs.
Maintain awareness and knowledge of material price changes and competitive pricing.
Utilize bidding software to build estimates and submit to customers and sales.
Maintain constant communication with the internal sales team and project managers.
Source new vendors and continue strengthening existing relationships with suppliers.
Proof all estimates for accuracy and value prior to sending off for customer approval.
Establish a consultative approach when working with customers and sales teams.
Work with other Riot locations on special projects and opportunities.
Engage in continued education in materials, fixtures, displays, and graphic applications.
