This position is responsible for the sales of Aebi-Schmidt European Products including but not limited to Schmidt sweepers and Aebi tractors with an area of focus in the Mid-West and supporting other areas as required. Sales are accomplished through dealerships and direct to consumer.

Requirements

  • Significant overnight travel (at least 50%) required within the designated territory and to Monroe location.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Mechanical aptitude is extremely beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sales functions within the assigned territory including prospecting to generate leads, qualifying, demonstrating, quoting, getting equipment specified for bids, negotiating, closing, and start-up registration following delivery.
  • Prospect and set up qualified dealers to stock, sell, and service products according to territory plans established by leadership.
  • Support dealers in performing sales functions as outlined above. This includes training dealers, making calls with sales reps, participating in dealer equipment demonstrations, providing pricing and quotes to dealer, and forging a sustainable mutually beneficial partnership.
  • Maintain relationships with customers in the direct and dealer territories.
  • Develop and implement approved sales plans containing quantified objectives aligned to corporate goals with emphasis on customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and market share.
  • Compile and maintain lists of prospective customers while building out the sales pipeline (forecast) in Salesforce (CRM).
  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned area, towing demonstration equipment or arranging freight of demonstration equipment too large to personally tow.
  • Develop product and application knowledge proficiency, including understanding competitors and market conditions influencing the business.
  • Organize, support set-up and tear-down, and attend trade shows.
