Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in outreach, business development, marketing, sales, or relationship management capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel); strong computer literacy required.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
  • Very well organized; ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that will be accepted by this organization’s vehicle insurance carrier.
  • Comfort and compassion in working with individuals facing life-controlling challenges, such as mental health issues and addiction.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the treatment and recovery industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of annual and quarterly Outreach plans to support MnTC’s business and organizational objectives across the assigned region.
  • Provide regional insights, news, and community needs to leadership to guide resource allocation and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the execution of Outreach initiatives within the assigned region.
  • Ensure MnTC programs are positioned competitively and supported with the necessary tools and resources for ongoing success.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with regional referral sources, including chemical dependency assessors, public defenders, social service agencies, child protection staff, judges, dispositional advisors, drug courts, probation officers, and other providers.
  • Provide accurate program information to the public efficiently and professionally, including application materials, brochures, training, and public speaking engagements.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key staff at jails and prisons within assigned counties.
  • Provide information about MnTC programs to incarcerated individuals eligible for services.
  • Assist with the admission process, ensuring compliance with established procedures and facilitating interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Admissions and Jail Coordinators, to troubleshoot barriers and support those in need of services.
  • Maintain routine communication with the Center Director, Admissions team, Program Staff, and other Outreach managers to support MnTC initiatives.
  • Ensure open, constructive, and bilateral communication that enhances organizational objectives.
  • Maintain an organized record of all regional contacts and enter information promptly into the CRM (e.g., Pipedrive).
  • Develop and maintain processes to track professional contacts and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Monitor and capture tracking information to support organizational objectives.
