About The Position
The Regional Operations Director is an integral member of the operations team, working closely with the Vice President of Operations to meet the needs of the assigned practice teams. This role directs and oversees business operations within their territory, including practice operations support to all functional areas, business planning activities, and management of expenses. Regional Director of Operations will lead an assigned territory of 10+ full time teams comprised of multiple distinct entities.

Responsibilities
- Accountable for leadership development, succession planning and employee and provider engagement programs for their region.
- Leads a team development strategy that focuses on engaging, inspiring, and developing regional talent at all levels and roles.
- Builds strong relationships with providers while supporting them and ensuring their success.
- Practices empathy and adapts leadership style to meet the needs of individual team members and a changing environment.
- Ensures excellent patient experience, patient satisfaction, and patient retention.
- Creates plans that align team, communications needed to effectively implement processes and procedures within their assigned region.
- Collaborates and supports new process improvement with the support and guidance of executive and program leadership.
- Ensures flawless execution of established operational standards and compliance with state, federal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitors KPIs for practice growth of the orthodontic & pediatric specialty offices.
- Meets budgeted performance and revenue goals of the offices within their assigned region.
- Improves and maintains case acceptance.
- Designs and executes performance-based action plan initiatives.
- Mitigates risk and effectively manages expenses.
