About The Position

Townsquare Media is seeking a Regional Market Engineering Manager to oversee broadcast engineering operations across its Fort Collins, Casper, Cheyenne, and Laramie markets. This hybrid role is the sole technical authority for market-level engineering and involves planning, analysis, and independent decision-making affecting broadcast continuity, FCC compliance, station revenue, and infrastructure strategy. The manager may personally perform technical work when operational circumstances require and may serve as Chief Operator under FCC rules. The role includes evaluating and resolving technical failures, maintaining and optimizing broadcast systems and infrastructure, developing operating standards, and recommending capital projects and vendor selections. The manager maintains a range of broadcast, IT, studio, transmission, and site equipment; travels independently between multiple markets and remote transmitter sites; and responds to emergencies, including after-hours and weekend incidents. On-call availability is required. The position requires effective technical documentation and communication with programming staff, management, and corporate technical leadership. It also involves working safely with high-voltage equipment, at tower sites and heights, and in varying weather and outdoor conditions. The position is hybrid and based around the assigned regional markets.
