About The Position

As a Regional Manager at RMS, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all operational activities within your geographical region. This position is reported directly to the RMS General Manager. You will also work with other RMS management team members including the Compliance Director, Finance Director, Human Resource Director, Maintenance Director and Risk Manager.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role.
  • Must have a strong understanding of DOT and FTA regulations.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in the transportation industry.
  • Experience with camera monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

  • Report all incidents and accidents in required time to RMS Risk Manager and to all agencies involved.
  • Assist RMS Risk Manager in retrieving video footage, accident reports and accident information.
  • Assist RMS Risk Manager in communicating with involved employees and our clients involved in the event.
  • Regional Managers will hold additional positions of Designated Employer Representative.
  • Coordinate pre-employment, random, and post-accident screenings.
  • Manage all steps in accordance with DOT and FTA guidelines and RMS Drug and Alcohol Policy.
  • Attend all bi-weekly staff meetings and Regional Manager meetings.
  • Attend conferences and training opportunities as required.
  • Clear all Camera Monitoring Systems safety inbox items.
  • Collect public revenue, reconcile farebox, and coordinate deposits weekly.
  • Correct timecard errors and ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain driver schedules and balance hours.
  • Approve timecards and monitor overtime.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned to service promptly.
  • Manage fuel cards and monitor usage.
  • Track uniforms, phones, and assigned equipment.
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and termination processes.
  • Maintain employee records and shared drive organization.
  • Communicate with HR and Finance regarding staffing changes.
  • Monitor KPI performance and operational metrics.
  • Conduct audits and compliance reviews.
  • Respond to complaints within required timelines.
  • Verify routes are executed and drivers are properly assigned.
  • Ensure timecards are complete and accurate.
  • Confirm camera systems are functioning properly.
