About The Position

Perennials and Sutherland, LLC is a highly respected luxury home furnishings company seeking a Regional Manager for their Hospitality Sales division. This role is responsible for all hospitality and contract sales in the South region of the United States, covering multiple states. The company emphasizes a passion for creativity, design, and art, serving an elite clientele in the luxury home furnishings market. The compensation includes a competitive base salary plus commission, with allowances for automobile and cell phone.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of sales, hospitality, or service experience, preferably in the furnishing/textile/interior design industry.
  • High-end customer service skills and ability to professionally represent the company brand.
  • Proven ability to leverage established client relationships and build a new client base to drive sales growth.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, high energy, adaptability, and internal drive for success.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30-40%.

Responsibilities

  • Sell luxury Perennials and Sutherland brand products (furniture, fabric, rugs) into the commercial interior design space, including corporate offices, hospitality, country clubs, healthcare facilities, and education.
  • Complete 10-15 in-person/virtual sales visits per week to potential hospitality/contract firms, fostering existing clients, creating new relationships, and presenting the company’s value proposition.
  • Prepare and maintain a travel schedule for the assigned territory, including at least quarterly visits to key customers.
  • Work closely with the Director of Hospitality Sales and other sales representatives to identify and close new business deals or expand existing business opportunities.
  • Manage sales activity in Salesforce by updating client notes and sales strategy.
  • Report on key sales metrics to management regularly to ensure activity goals are met and maximize sales growth.
  • Provide timely response and thorough resolution for any client issues related to Hospitality sales.
  • Participate in national hospitality trade shows and identify regional trade show opportunities.
  • Stay updated on local trends, market conditions, and industry information to share with the Hospitality Sales Director.
  • Attend local hospitality networking events.
