About The Position

We are seeking a Regional Maintenance Supervisor to join our Facilities team! The purpose of this position is to supervise and manage the daily activities and performance of the internal team of Equipment Technicians, Maintenance Coordinators, Maintenance Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and outside service suppliers that through leadership coaching, associate management, accountability, customer service, project participation, process execution, research and implementation of new processes and technologies all for the purpose of optimizing the Repair & Maintenance of our stores. This position serves as the department liaison between Facilities Maintenance & Warehousing and Retail Operations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Business or 2-year certification from a Trade School or equivalent
  • At least three (3) years’ construction management experience OR at least three (3) years’ service management experience
  • At least five (5) years’ equipment field repair experience
  • Must be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver license
  • Knowledge of equipment servicing; including electrical, plumbing, power generation, mechanical, natural and propane gas, and general construction
  • Knowledge of Service Agreements and Contract Management
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to work a varying schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends when required
  • Willingness to be available as business needs require
  • Willingness to travel overnight on occasion

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or four-year certification from a Trade School
  • Five (5) or more years’ construction management OR five (5) or more years’ service management OR seven (7) years equipment field repair experience
  • General Contractor License
  • Electrical Contractor License
  • Knowledge of CQI Methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Directing activities that maintain facilities and equipment
  • Controlling expenses
  • Ensuring equipment up-time to support sales planning, sourcing, management, and successful execution of all assigned tasks for new stores, remodels, and special projects for the purpose of supporting company strategic objectives related to growing sales profitably
  • Coordinating between Facilities Maintenance and Warehousing, other departments and external suppliers on issues relating to the scheduling of equipment installations, maintenance, repairs, or equipment replacements
  • Providing ongoing support for department objectives, deliverables and managing operational costs for maintenance and repairs
