Regional Maintenance Manager
About The Position
Gateway Management Company is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager for a select group of apartment communities in the South Eastern Area. Under the direction of the Regional Property Manager and VP of Maintenance, this role is responsible for maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency across maintenance operations at assigned properties and Gateway Management Company sites. The manager works with Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians, in coordination with Property Managers, the Regional Property Manager, and the VP of Maintenance, to supervise property maintenance staff. The role also includes coaching and mentoring employees, supporting technical issues, conducting inspections, providing training, and assisting with recruitment and interviews. The position involves travel of up to 50% to 75% and inside and outside work in all types of weather.
Requirements
- Knowledge and certification to perform all heating and cooling system repairs.
- Knowledge and understanding of plumbing and electrical systems.
- Licensed to operate motor vehicles and have auto insurance.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to 75%.

Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance staff at each property in coordination with Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians, Property Managers, the Regional Property Manager, and the VP of Maintenance.
- Coach and mentor staff and provide support on technical issues.
- Conduct NSPIRE and pre-audit inspections to ensure company standards for compliance and safety.
- Train Maintenance Technicians in administrative procedures, repair techniques, and company policies.
- Assist with recruiting and interviewing candidates.
