About The Position

The Senior System Lead, Application & Integration (GCM) serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) between the Application & Integration (A&I) organization and an assigned Global Customer Management (GCM) enterprise account. This role is responsible for the end-to-end technical ownership of A&I delivery for the assigned client, from pre-sale solution design through steady-state operations and continuous improvement. The Senior System Lead consolidates and translates business demand from the GCM account team into structured A&I work packages, provides functional oversight to regional A&I engineers, manages change requests and escalations, and ensures all deliverables adhere to global A&I standards. The role operates at the intersection of commercial account management and technical delivery, requiring the ability to communicate effectively with both client-facing stakeholders and regional engineering teams across multiple time zones. This is a deep, single-account technical ownership role requiring strong governance discipline, structured demand management, and the capacity to represent DSV at a senior level with global enterprise clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in WMS implementation, application & integration management, or supply chain systems delivery.
  • Minimum 3 years in a client-facing or account management capacity within a logistics, 3PL, or supply chain technology environment.
  • Hands-on experience with WMS platforms (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, Oracle WMS, or equivalent); familiarity with integration technologies including EDI, API, and ERP/TMS connectivity.
  • Proven ability to manage change requests end-to-end: intake, scoping, prioritization, delivery oversight, and sign-off.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as an external-facing SPOC for a global enterprise account; experience managing client escalations, QBRs, and stakeholder communications at a senior level.
  • Cross-regional coordination experience; ability to align teams across multiple time zones and geographies under a unified delivery methodology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences and represent DSV credibly in client-facing settings.
  • Knowledge of global A&I standards, governance frameworks, and change management processes; experience with demand intake and portfolio visibility tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creation, documentation, and maintenance of application and integration standards relevant to the assigned GCM client.
  • Ensure that A&I deliverables follow global standards, templates, and processes; escalate and manage deviations where required.

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all A&I-related topics for the GCM account team globally.
  • Consolidate A&I demand from all regions supporting the GCM client and ensure clarity, prioritization, and structured response.
  • Facilitate communication between GCM, Technical Leads, Regional A&I teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Provide functional oversight to the A&I engineers assigned to the GCM client, ensuring proper task allocation, technical direction, and workload management.
  • Review and approve designs, integration specifications, technical decisions, and testing strategies across regions.
  • Ensure engineering teams operate with a unified methodology and shared understanding of the client’s architecture, system landscape, and business needs.
  • Identify resource gaps and support planning for dedicated A&I capacities per client where needed.
  • Drive alignment on demand, resources, and priorities between all regions involved in A&I delivery for the client.
  • Ensure that work performed in different regions is harmonized and aligned with the global A&I operating model.
  • Engage regularly with Regional A&I Leads or counterparts to maintain visibility of dependencies, risks, and timelines.
  • Consolidate and translate business demand from GCM into actionable A&I work packages.
  • Provide visibility to leadership on volume, complexity, capacity needs, and prioritization.
  • Ensure timely sign-off of scoping, estimations, and resource plans.
  • Identify and escalate risks or capacity constraints that may jeopardize delivery timelines or quality.
  • Facilitate cross-team problem-solving to address architectural challenges or cross-application integration issues.
  • Ensure transparency when workload exceeds safe capacity thresholds, advocating for reprioritization or additional support where needed.
  • Proactively contribute to global A&I methodologies, templates, and best practices based on lessons learned from the client.
  • Feed recurring patterns, change needs, or new feature requests into global governance bodies such as the GAB (Global Advisory Board).
