About The Position

This role requires a WMS QA Lead with over 13 years of total IT experience, specializing in technical configuration of WMS products, solution integration, quality assurance, system testing, PLSQL, SQL Server, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will have retail/ecommerce ERP experience with platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or Fluent, and over 10 years of experience in progressive web and mobile apps technology within the retail ecommerce domain. Responsibilities include preparing test plans, developing and executing test cases with a focus on coverage and performance, drafting and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) cases, and ensuring the WMS is correctly set up, tested, and commissioned within warehouse operations. The role also involves coordinating changes and reconfigurations of the WMS to minimize disruption to daily business operations, gathering process requirements for effective WMS management, conducting system testing before process change go-lives, and ensuring all test cases are executed, documented, and implemented in a controlled manner. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment
Experience working in a Test-driven environment
Working experience in Retail Domain with Ecommerce platforms, OMS, WMS, Supply chain, inventory
Exposure and understanding to Modern web standards and technology
Strong communication skills
Experience in stakeholder management

Responsibilities

Prepare test plans
Develop test cases
Execute tests with a focus on coverage, performance
Draft user acceptance testing (UAT) cases
Prepare the system for UAT
Conduct UAT as required
Ensure that the WMS is correctly set up, tested, and commissioned within the warehouse operations
Coordinate changes and reconfiguration of the WMS effectively to ensure that day-to-day business operations are not adversely affected during the transition
Gather and understand process requirements for effective process management via the WMS
Conduct system testing prior to any process change go-live
Ensure all relevant and required test cases are executed, documented with results, and implemented in a controlled manner
