About The Position

Chedraui USA is searching for an experienced Regional Human Resources Business Partner for our facility located at 12430 4th St. Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. The Regional Human Resources Business Partner implements Human Resource strategies, analyzes business information and leads Human Resources and business initiatives in the Distribution Center. This position engages in employee relations issues, partners with Talent Acquisition on staffing and selection, and supports personnel development activities. The Regional Human Resources Business Partner anticipates business needs, thinks proactively and responds quickly, appropriately and professionally to staff issues at the Distribution Center which employs and fosters a values centered culture and partners with the business to achieve organizational objectives over 1,000+ employees across three shifts over a seven-day scheduled work week. Occasional weekend and overnight work may be required depending on operational needs. This is an onsite position. Candidates must be able to report to the Rancho Cucamonga Facility five days a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity dealing with complex business and Human Resources issues
  • Human Resources experience within a distribution, warehouse or manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implements Human Resource strategies, analyzes business information and leads Human Resources and business initiatives in the Distribution Center.

  • Supports personnel development activities.
  • Anticipates business needs, thinks proactively and responds quickly, appropriately and professionally to staff issues at the Distribution Center.
  • Collaborates with and provide guidance to the Distribution Center staff regarding the department functions and needs of the business such as compensation, legal compliance, complaint reporting and investigations, leaves of absence, talent acquisition, HRIS, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with company personnel policies in the assigned area and assist with compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
