About The Position

The primary purpose of the role is to build relationships with utilities to enable our growth efforts with municipal utilities for water, wastewater and bio solids O&M opportunities. This involves building strong relationships with utility leaders and community leaders in strategic growth regions, promoting the values of Veolia, Private Public Partnership contracting and contract operations to communities, and identifying and aligning Veolia’s offerings and value with key utility challenges. The role also includes coordinating and leading proposal efforts and RFP response activities, managing reporting for all commercial activities for key contracts, working collaboratively with regional VP, site leadership, Technical & Performance resources, and managing the internal corporate and compliance approval process for opportunities. Travel is required at least 75% of the time, and may be both local and overnight within the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Self-starter.
  • Results focused mindset.
  • Strong customer relationship/management skills.
  • Technical knowledge of water and wastewater industry.
  • Highly organized and structured - able to follow a standard process.
  • Able to work collaboratively across different functions and help colleagues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Contracting with Utilities and Private Public Partnership experience preferred.
  • Water utility experience preferred.
