About The Position

A well-established nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced Regional Fundraising Director to grow philanthropic support throughout the Southeast. This full-time, relationship-driven role focuses on major gifts, donor cultivation, new donor acquisition, and building strong community relationships. The position offers significant autonomy and involves working directly with high-net-worth donors and community leaders to build and grow a major donor network.

Requirements

At least 5 years of successful fundraising, major gifts, development, sales, or comparable relationship-management experience.
Proven ability to cultivate relationships and secure significant financial commitments.
Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with comfort working toward fundraising goals.
Ability to travel throughout the Southeast and attend occasional evening or weekend events.
Must currently reside in the Southeast region.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with high-net-worth individuals.
Existing relationships or familiarity with the South Florida and Southeast Jewish philanthropic communities.

Responsibilities

Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and high-net-worth individuals.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of new donor prospects.
Develop relationships with community leaders and key referral sources.
Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with donors and prospects.
Secure major gifts, sponsorships, and long-term commitments.
Grow giving from existing donors while developing new relationships.
Maintain consistent donor follow-up and track fundraising activity.
Attend donor meetings, community events, and fundraising initiatives throughout the Southeast.
