About The Position

We are seeking a Regional Food Sales Manager to support and grow our foodservice business across the New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia regions. This role focuses on expanding B2B sales for Jang-based sauces and related food products, primarily through foodservice distributors and brokerage partners. The position is designed for a sales professional who understands the foodservice market and is comfortable working with brokers, distributors, and regional restaurant accounts, rather than handling all sales independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Food Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of account or sales management experience in the food industry, particularly within the foodservice channel.
  • Experience working with franchise restaurant accounts.
  • Sales Manager experience working with a Philly- or NY-area foodservice distributor or an American restaurant franchise brokerage is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus: English (Proficient/Advanced); Korean (Intermediate or lower preferred, but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel within the region, including occasional visits to:
  • The New Jersey office
  • The manufacturing facility near Philadelphia
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
  • Comfortable working in a broker- and distributor-led sales environment.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Development & Target Achievement
  • Support regional sales growth across the foodservice channel, with a focus on regional and franchise restaurant accounts.
  • Work closely with foodservice distributors and brokerage partners to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
  • Assist in managing the sales process from opportunity identification through execution in collaboration with brokers and distributors.
  • Contribute to achieving regional sales targets through coordination, follow-up, and market support.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, distributors, and key foodservice customers.
  • Support new product placements and account expansion to drive incremental growth.
  • Serve as a point of contact for product-related questions or issues and coordinate internally to help ensure timely resolution.
  • Gather and share market feedback related to customer needs, competition, and pricing trends.
  • Product Knowledge and Training
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the companys product line, especially sauces and food ingredients.
  • Support product introductions and trainings for:
  • Broker teams
  • Distributor sales representatives
  • Select foodservice customers
  • Represent the company at food shows, trade events, and industry meetings as needed.
