About The Position

Ascension Wisconsin Milwaukee Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and skilled Regional Float Registered Nurse for their ICU department. This full-time night position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating care across disciplines, and executing physician and nursing orders. The role involves assessing and coordinating patient care needs with the healthcare team, ensuring well-coordinated and effective patient care.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.
