PRN Regional Float NP/PA – Texas
About The Position
HealthCARE Express is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a PRN Regional Float Provider. This position is designed to provide additional coverage across our Texas urgent care clinics based on patient volume, staffing needs, and clinic coverage. This is a great fit for a provider who enjoys the flexibility of PRN work, is comfortable working in different clinic environments, and can jump in and provide excellent patient care wherever coverage is needed. As a Regional Float Provider, you'll evaluate and treat patients in an urgent care setting while working alongside our clinical teams to keep patient care moving efficiently. You'll diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries, order and interpret appropriate testing, prescribe medications when indicated, perform procedures within your scope of practice, and provide patient education and follow-up instructions. Because this is a float position, flexibility is important. Shifts and clinic locations will vary based on operational needs, with increased opportunities for coverage during higher-volume periods.
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Texas.
- Dependable.
- Adaptable.
- Confident working independently.
- Comfortable stepping into different clinic teams as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, or other fast-paced clinical experience is strongly preferred.
