About The Position

We are hiring Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) Flex Drivers based in York, Pennsylvania. Drivers travel nationwide to support customer operations when extra coverage is needed, with company-paid travel expenses and competitive pay. The role pays $40 per hour at straight time, with an average annual pay of $104,000 and a $25 per diem for each night away from home. Travel time to and from supported operations is paid, and the company pays for flights, hotels, and rental vehicles. Drivers may be away from home for up to five weeks, followed by one week off. Workdays and start times vary by assignment. Drivers support LKQ routes and other Ruan customer accounts nationwide, working with different types of equipment. Freight may be no-touch, driver-assisted, or require unloading. A hazmat endorsement is required or must be obtained within 60 days; Ruan can assist. Forklift experience is preferred, and training is provided.

Requirements

Hold a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
Be at least 22 years old.
Have at least 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
Have no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions.
Have no more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years.
Meet Clearinghouse and English-language requirements.
Have a REAL ID or valid United States passport.
Have a hazmat endorsement or obtain one within 60 days.
