About The Position

Drive for a dedicated local grocery operation serving the Denver metro area. Loads begin at the distribution center in Aurora, Colorado, and deliveries go to grocery stores throughout Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming. The role averages approximately 1,700 miles per week, with about 1–3 loads per day and 13 stops per week. Freight includes live unloads and drop-and-hook work, with predictable routes and recurring delivery locations. Drivers use newer automatic-transmission trucks, which must be parked at the facility and cannot be taken home.

The schedule is six days on followed by two days off, with daily home time and occasional overnight runs during surge periods. Shifts include nights, evenings, and early mornings, with variable start times. The operation runs 24/7 and may include occasional short mountain runs. Pay is mileage-based, with an average weekly pay of $1,650 and average annual pay of $84,500. A safe-and-on-time mileage bonus is available for drivers who meet account safety and on-time standards.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must not be an SAP driver.
• Availability for variable night, evening, and early-morning shifts.
• Ability to complete local deliveries and occasional overnight runs when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver grocery loads from the Aurora, Colorado distribution center to stores throughout Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming.
• Complete approximately 1–3 loads per day and 13 stops per week, including live unloads and drop-and-hook freight.
• Work variable night, evening, and early-morning shifts, on a six-days-on/two-days-off schedule.
• Complete occasional overnight runs during surge periods and occasional short mountain runs when required.
• Park the truck at the facility rather than taking it home.
• Meet the account’s safety and on-time standards to qualify for the bonus.
