About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer service focused Regional Field Service Manager to help support our team throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. As a Regional Field Service Manager you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to a regional group of hospital accounts by managing a team of Field Service Supervisors, Field Service Representatives and coordinating with the Plant Manager and Delivery Route Drivers. This role requires 50% travel. We are a healthcare service company providing safety systems and medical waste collection for hospitals, medical centers, surgical centers, nursing homes and an array of customers within the healthcare setting. Our focus is delivering quality and safety-focused medical waste management services that reduce needlestick injuries, positively impact infection control and reduce environmental burden. As a service to our customers we dispose and treat medical waste on site at our treatment facilities across the U.S.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years proven leadership experience in service related industry; hospital services or related industry experience highly desirable
  • Outstanding project management skills to oversee complex installations and meet cost and time requirements
  • Solid understanding of service-related financial drivers/KPIs and experience managing budgets and profit/loss
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in order to maintain all regulatory and client care records at 100% accuracy
  • Experience hiring, training and leading direct reports a definite plus
  • Sense of urgency to deliver on results and resolve issues quickly
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50-60%; most travel is local involving day trips or overnight stays.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and customers to assess service, staffing, and product needs for existing and new accounts.
  • Lead account implementations, including installations, ward walks, product setup, Techsmart deployment, inventory management, and service scheduling.
  • Train hospital staff, Service Technicians, and other stakeholders on Daniels products, programs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong customer relationships by conducting audits, monitoring service levels, reviewing utilization data, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, product ordering, labor planning, scheduling, payroll, and budget adherence to support operational efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and manage Service Technicians, including performance management, safety training, and coverage planning.
  • Ensure high-quality, compliant service delivery through quality audits, issue resolution, on-time collections, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional communication with Operations and Sales leadership.
