About The Position

The LIBRE Initiative, rooted in the Hispanic community, brings people together to advance public policy solutions that create the freedom and opportunity for individuals to chase their American Dream. LIBRE empowers communities by advocating for immigration system reform, affordable and flexible healthcare options, an individualized education system, and a robust economy. As a Regional Field Manager (internally referred to as a Grassroots Engagement Director), you will identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Greeley, Colorado, and mobilize them to take action to drive policy reforms that open opportunities for all. This role is part of Americans for Prosperity and the Stand Together philanthropic community.

  • Ability to motivate and coordinate volunteers.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to work a flexible and changing work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to stewarding a culture that champions transformation, innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organization, and/or political campaigns.
  • Volunteer or staff supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Identify activists in various parts of the state who are currently - or could become leaders - in their local communities, and motivate them to advocate for change.
  • Equip local leaders to advocate for changes consistent with LIBRE's principles by connecting them to training and resources.
  • Organize events involving public engagement through phone calls, social media, and face-to-face neighborhood outreach.
  • Innovate by creating unique ways to reach people and educate them on public policy issues and initiatives.
  • Ensure regular contact with activists to keep them motivated, educated, and active.
  • Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including time management, compliance with laws and regulations, and best practices.
