Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license required, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You’ll be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable with working outdoors year-round.
  • Available and willing to work overtime when needed.
  • Experienced and competent in servicing a wide range of heavy-duty rental equipment in the field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well independently while also being comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Curiosity to learn new things & understand more about construction equipment and the rental industry.
  • Comfortable with computers/technology (for filling out inspections, reports, etc., etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

  • Performing preventive maintenance on various types of construction equipment fleet.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems on customer sites.
  • Communicate and schedule service times with customers.
  • Document all service and repair information.
  • Order parts, receive parts, and open/close purchase orders as required.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work on the construction equipment fleet.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures on customer sites.
