About The Position

The Regional Director, Florida, is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with owners while coaching, mentoring, and leading a team of Chaplains to successfully carry out the mission statement. This role involves significant travel for field visits, client relationship management, internal leadership, and active participation in recruiting new chaplains.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of full-time actual secular workplace experience (Church work time does not count).
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Business/workplace Leadership experience.
  • Required technology skills include ability to use a computer and learn software (Word, Excel, performance management, ADP, iCIMS, Salesforce, etc.), Internet, and cell phone.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Ability to provide chaplaincy to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
  • Must live in the Orlando metro area.

  • Master of Divinity or Bible College preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and lead a Team of Chaplains to ensure their success in key areas of responsibility and assigned mission fields.
  • Travel for field visits with Chaplain Team members and other Key Players in assigned Mission Fields to build relationships and the desired ‘culture of care’.
  • Train and develop Chaplain Team members through effective coaching, equipping, and encouragement.
  • Provide clear and timely performance feedback to all Chaplain Team members through periodic and annual reviews.
  • Clearly communicate and motivate Chaplain Team members to keep and practice their ‘WHY’.
  • Monitor and test all chaplain reporting requirements to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Provide crisis care as needed for natural disasters, traumatic accidents, etc., through Rapid Response teams.
  • Provide chaplain coverage as needed.
  • Build ‘Value’ Business relationships with owners in the assigned Region.
  • Strive to build and maintain clear two-way communication and trust throughout CCA and with companies served.
  • Conduct regular company reviews to ensure a solid value relationship exists between CCA and Company owners.
  • Be alert to changes in company leadership and ensure accurate system reporting.
  • Act as the contact person and onsite assistant during chaplain transitions to ensure smooth transfer of company context and culture.
  • Promote the importance of consistent evangelism, including the responsible sharing of the gospel and leading the lost to a salvation experience.
  • Adhere to the CCA Employee Handbook and current operational SOP’s.
  • Display and promote a team player attitude with fellow chaplains and Regional Directors.
  • Take an active role in identifying and developing Chaplains for future roles in the ministry.
  • Provide proactive assistance to the CCA Recruiting team for regional open positions and for enabling an average of 5% or less MMR for all assigned chaplains.
  • Actively participate in recruiting, interviewing, assimilating, and training new chaplains.
  • Provide chaplain applicant leads to the Recruiting team.
