The Regional Operations Director, Integrated Care Solutions, is responsible for strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of Transitional Care Units. This role involves guiding teams to achieve strong performance, ensuring clinical compliance, and maintaining high-quality service delivery. The Director will collaborate with National Service Centre partners and Senior Program Managers to enhance operations, support staff, and resolve challenges with a solutions-oriented approach. Additionally, this position is crucial for advancing new initiatives, improving processes, and supporting the development or transition of operating locations, offering an opportunity to influence regional strategy, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the growth of Bayshore's Integrated Care Solutions.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Master’s degree in a health related or business discipline, or equivalent with experience and education
  • A minimum of 10 years related Health Care or transferable management experience in complex multi-site, distributed network, health care environment
  • Must demonstrate a successful track record in strategic planning, project management, financial analysis, quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams and inspire individuals towards continuous improvement and the drive to achieve excellence

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with National Service Centre (NSC) business partners, provide direct support to transitional care units through personal calls and visits as needed.
  • Onsite Visits to all TCU’s within the portfolio on a regular basis determined by need and conversations with operational teams and Managing Director.
  • Participate in the development of operating strategies to achieve short and long term operational and business development objectives.
  • Collaborate to develop, monitor progress and provide leadership in modifying business strategies such that objectives can be realized to the greatest extent possible.
  • Support with business development as it pertains to the opening of new programs, program development or new lines of business in collaboration with the National Service Centre, other Bayshore divisions as well as cross functional teams.
  • In partnership with NSC finance business partners, assists in analyzing the financial performance and operational activities of ICS and transitional care units through monthly calls. Evaluates continued operation in terms of the potential for expansion or need for reduction or closure.
  • Continuously assess and evaluates the potential for innovation and improvement in business units and service delivery. Work with NSC teams and ICS Leadership team to ensure the design, implementation and evaluation of actions to improve and support the ongoing maintenance of improvements and innovations.
  • Ensure that administrative responsibilities of the business units are completed in a thorough and timely manner; assist to solve problems and develop interventions to eliminate recurrence.
  • Provide leadership to the business units with respect to Human Resources management in consultation with the NSC HR business partners; ensure compliance with Human Rights, Statutory employment requirements, Common Law expectations and all HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure business units have appropriate leadership and administrative structures in place to ensure the success of the operations. Ensure succession and contingency planning takes place on a regular basis to ensure consistency of key leadership and support roles.
  • Provide leadership for the implementation, maintenance and evaluation of company-wide Quality Management System and Continuous Improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Senior Management Team, cross functional teams and relevant business partners.
  • Take an active role in facilitation of national and regional meetings to ensure that the needs of all Program Managers are met and that issues discussed are pertinent to all regions. Ensure directives arising from the meetings are implemented and evaluated in a timely manner.
  • In collaboration with the Director, ICS, participate with relevant industry associations, committees or boards so as to ensure Bayshore is seen as a strong community partner and to ensure ongoing intelligence regarding industry and government direction.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
  • Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns. Responsible for completing accident reports for all direct reports who injure themselves on the job within 24 hours of the incident.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.
